Customers join instantly
Customers tap the link or scan the QR code, see your programme details, and join with one tap. Their loyalty card is created immediately.
Share once, enrol customers forever
Your join link and QR code never expire. Pin it to your Instagram bio, print it on every receipt, or stick it on your counter. It keeps working around the clock.
Everything you need for self-service enrolment
Self-join removes the biggest barrier to loyalty programme adoption: requiring customers to be in your shop with a staff member present.
QR code & link sharing
Get both a scannable QR code and a shareable link for every programme. Download the QR as an image for print materials.
No staff required
Customers join your programme without needing a staff member to scan their card. Reduce queue times and onboarding friction.
Mobile-first join flow
The join link opens a preview page showing your programme details, then deep-links into the Stampet app for instant enrolment.
Straight to their wallet
Once joined, the loyalty card saves directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Always accessible, never forgotten.
Works with all programme types
Self-join supports stamp cards, points programmes, and tiered programmes. New members are assigned the entry-level tier automatically.
Duplicate-safe
If a customer clicks the join link twice, Stampet returns their existing membership. No duplicates, no confusion.
Manual enrolment vs self-join
Traditional loyalty programme sign-up requires the customer to be physically present while a staff member creates their account. Self-join removes that bottleneck entirely. Mobile-based loyalty programmes keep 83% of members active after three months, against just 18% for plastic card programmes.
Frequently asked questions
How does customer self-join work?
When you enable self-join on a loyalty programme, Stampet generates a unique join link and QR code for that programme. You share these with customers via social media, printed receipts, in-store displays, or your website. When a customer clicks the link or scans the QR code, they land on a preview page showing your programme details. One tap opens the Stampet app where they can join instantly.
Do customers need to download an app to self-join?
Customers need the Stampet app to complete the join. However, the join link landing page works in any browser and shows your programme details. If the customer does not have the app installed, the page provides direct links to download it from the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, they can return to the link to complete joining.
Can I control who joins my programme?
Self-join is an optional setting you can enable or disable at any time from your dashboard. When disabled, customers can only join when a staff member scans their card in person. You can also set member limits per programme based on your subscription tier, giving you control over how many customers can join.
What happens if a customer tries to join twice?
Stampet handles duplicate joins gracefully. If a customer who has already joined your programme clicks the join link again, they are simply shown their existing membership. No duplicate cards are created, and their existing stamp or point balance is preserved.
Does self-join work with tiered loyalty programmes?
Yes. When a customer self-joins a tiered programme, they are automatically assigned to your entry-level tier. They can then progress through tiers by earning stamps or points, just like any other member. The tier assignment happens instantly at the point of joining.
Where should I share my join link?
Anywhere you interact with customers. Common placements include social media bios and posts, printed receipts, table tents and counter displays, your website or online menu, email newsletters, and flyers or leaflets. You can also download the QR code as an image to include in any printed material.
