How do customers pay?
Customers subscribe by card, monthly or yearly, either from your public join link or in the Stampet app. Payments run through your own Stripe account, so you are the merchant of record and Stripe pays you out on your normal schedule. Stampet takes no platform fee; Stripe's own processing fees still apply, as they would on any card payment.
What kinds of memberships can I sell?
Anything with a recurring price and standing benefits. Common examples are a coffee club (two coffees a day), unlimited haircuts for a monthly fee, or a members-only discount. Each membership can include several benefits, and each benefit can have its own allowance, such as unlimited, per day, per week, or per month.
How do staff give members their benefits?
Staff scan the customer's usual Stampet QR code, see the membership benefits on screen, and tap to redeem an included item. The app tracks the remaining allowance for the current period automatically, so a two-a-day coffee club cannot be over-redeemed.
Can I offer a joining fee, a free trial, or a minimum term?
Yes. When you build a membership you can add a one-off joining fee, a free trial, a minimum commitment, promo codes, and a monthly or yearly option. You can also cap the number of members and run a waitlist once it is full.
Do I need a separate app for members?
No. A paid membership shows up as a card in the same Stampet app your loyalty customers already use, alongside their stamp and points cards. Members can view their benefits, see their next renewal, and manage or cancel from there.
What plan do I need?
Paid memberships are available on the Starter plan and above. You connect your Stripe account once from the portal, then build as many memberships as your plan allows.
